The "Christmas Challenge" presented to all members who want to participate is:

"Make a Landscape Quilt"

This can be a picture of a real place, something that represents an imaginary place, or an abstract.  Any subject, any size, any technique - that represents to you a "landscape".  Maybe it will be the colors that suggest a favorite vacation spot.  Maybe the fabrics you choose will create a textural view.  Maybe you will want to combine a traditional quilt pattern with some landscape sections.  Looks like the possibilities are endless!

(Psst - - - I hear that there will be a "valuable prize" for the winner of this challenge!")

Put your thinking caps on and lets see what we can learn while playing with these ideas.  Here are a few links just to get you pondering!  Click on them to view their quilts.
